Canadian Academy’s New Food Provision Guidelines
Should Canadian Academy’s P.E and Health Departments ban bake-sales of “unhealthy food?” This would result in a diminished set of opportunities for fund-raising. Should students have the right to choose what they want to sell, and what they want to buy, when it comes to food provision and consumption? Is the freedom of choice a fundamental, ‘economic’ right we all possess as members of this school community, and as members of this society?

My friend and I were recently talking about technology, and how integrated it has become to our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don’t mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside… I just hope that as technology further innovates, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It’s a fantasy that I dream about all the time.
